Wendy Dockrill

Branch Co-ordinator for BB Healthcare Chelmsford, currently recruiting and supplying staff within
the Essex area. I would like to start the next stage and be able to accommodate companionship and
domiciliary care.
I have worked within the care sector for the past 16 years, starting as a care worker in the
community, and it wasn’t long before my passion grew and grew encouraging me to want to achieve
more within the care sector. I worked my up through the care sector, senior carer, branch co-
ordinator, completing my NVQ 2, NVQ 4, and then I was given a golden opportunity to be able to
train care workers. I completed my CTTLLS teaching qualification and completed all the Train the
Trainers for all the mandatory training, I have completed my TAQA which is for QCF assessing on
Levels 2, 3, 4, & 5 Health and Social care and business admin.
I became Training Manager in 2007 and then worked my way to Deputy Branch Manager then onto
Registered Branch Manager with over 50 staff members and 3000 hours within the Essex Area.
I enjoy my job very much and I like to try and make a difference to help people stay as independent
as they can, I am always available to listen to our services users and staff, which encourages good
communication skills and support, respecting dignity and choices and rights. Always aiming higher
to achieve more and care for people as they should be cared for. Also enjoy fundraising events.
